DEAR RYAN BAILEY COHEN

dear ryan     i see your tooth and think of planting

it dear ryan i miss you dear    ryan the most important

lesson about    sunscreen is that        things

only burn as much    as you let them dear ryan

you called me your hero once i am    sorry

if you ever felt         cold        dear ryan last night

i had a dream        all my    teeth     falling out dear

ryan here’s a mountain poem        from when you

told me     that poets write about mountains

i miss you        ryan    hope is the colour of

the sky    when    we watched the solar    eclipse        you

were so brave dear    ryan it’s about a deer    ryan

the deer    ryan is so in love    with the mountain

ryan    but the mountain is so old    ryan

and they are both so     scared    ryan             ryan

time passes differently from the perspective of

something so ancient     ryan    so you see the     mountain

it goes to sleep         and when it wakes up

ryan    the deer is    dead    it’s really quite sad    ryan

it’s okay if you don’t understand it     ryan

i hope you never do    ryan     dear ryan        don’t look

at the sun             for too long now
